Collage Message from The Opossum 

So today I have pulled the Opossum Card as  a general message. The message from this card is about having a back up plan and being to prepared to find a new way being open to the paths that are being thrown in front of you and really trust in what is to come and that you are on the path that is meant for you. 

The Opossum being with you is great is showing you the right time in which to act as although they have attack weapons the prefer to think about their situation to make the right escape from it and this is something they offer to you today. The opossum will help you to make decisions about people that surround you and help you trust in your intuition about their motives and intentions in order to protect yourself. 

Collage when asking my guides to show me what is needed to be seen..  I have put down some meanings but these collages are personal an item may have a different meaning for you. 

So this is my interpretation of what they have shown me the fire in the hand is asking to take hold of the passion and the fire inside and use this to drive you forward and the army soldiers to me is a sign of the strength. Also looking again now the fact they are a group some form of unity is important in your life at the moment and you can use this to make decisions going forward. These men here have fear which is echoed by the image of fire- fire can also be a symbol for a fear deep inside of what is uncontrollable however giving me the large kicking screams out that it is best to go forward in leaps and bounds. 

The no to the shoes underneath which to me inspire a person who has nerves as the feet are in an awkward position. They seemed to want to reafirm that things are getting better as you are heading towards the light, towards the sun and to grasp hold of any feelings of optimism.

Interesting that there are camels as well they have this ability to keep going even in harsh climates with the intense heat they can make the best of what is available to them. The crush for me is about crushing obstacles with those high stilettos orange in colour signifying happiness and warmth. The white shoes stepping forward afresh as white is about healing and rebirth and moving forward and you just having to believe that this is possible in your heart., emphasized by the pink and white of the words. 

As I say it is a personal thing reading a collage but hope that meanings can be gleaned from your power animal card along side the words and images brought forward.

Messages from the Flamingo

I mentioned before about sharing some of the guides that have come through now and in the past so going to add them as they come along and then index them all on a page

One of my favourites who came through at the beginning of my journey and was so beautiful was the Flamingo. My keywords for this bird would be intergration, balance and grounding.

He was completely stunning. This particular bird has a hugely healing presence if he appears in your life. The colour was what struck me at first this gentle pale rose pink instantly brought forward images of the heart and bringing balance in the heart chakra.

The Flamingo can help bring balance by bringing you love and joy into your life. A guide I found a huge help in injecting love and romance into a relationship and one that has guided others into finding love with others as this bird does not like to be alone and does not want you to feel alone either.

Can you see the glint in his eye... he could be considered a flirt and his energy can help you reach out to others and relax you in times that you may otherwise have felt a bit more reserved. I find he often appears when people are feeling a little introverted to try and help you release some of your emotions. The flamingo uses its large colonies to feel protected and helps to steer you in this direction too.

Returning back to the balance when I saw the flamingo he was on one leg.. really hitting home how important balance is to have in life without it he would topple over. It also brings this feeling of being grounded.

When this guide appeared they were standing next to the weeping willow which for me was a clear message they were there to help move away from some emotional sorry and strongly linked to a relationship breakdown. They wanted to encourage this person to let out their emotions and meet new people. They wanted them to know that they were not alone..

Angel Numbers

I have been getting reoccuring numbers all the time 404 and also 777 and found this wonderful blog which details all the messages

She has listed numerous combinations and single numbers how to read the numbers.. It was such a blessing to receive these messages as both the combinations affirm to me that I am on the right track and the right path and the angels seem to recognise this which for me is amazing. I have been searching a long while about the direction I need to go.

So please if you see numbers popping up again and again go and have a look here as to what the angels are trying to tell you. It is also useful to check time and date you were born and the significance of these numbers.

I haven't been on as much as like but have been busy brushing up on reading and trying to connect with my new guide whom I hope will help me take my first baby steps into the realms of mediumship whilst still developing my tarot deck... I just feeling so far that I dont like any of my ideas so still waiting for some inspiration to come to me.. I do like the animals still and did this spirit guide portrait whom would make a lovely addition with the swan to an oracle I think...

look into his eyes he has so much to say... the energy really oozes out of this picture... As this was not intended as an oracle picture I did not really attend to the background but in it would be the distant herd in one corner and the sneaking lion as I feel a real sense of community with this card and inner strength that this creature would dare to take on the lion..

Animal Guide Portraits

I have been drawing these for a while and I love to connect and put down how they want to be seen on paper..

Each one has a message some even give me a name to give them their little bit of personification. The animal guides there are many different thoughts but I believe that whilst we do have our life long guides there are many that appear for short journeys and some just for a lesson and they are there to guide us through... these are usually the ones that I pick up on as they have the strongest need to be recognized.

I find putting them down on paper, their image gives them more strength and gives something physical to resonate with.. also most people find them a surprise but once they have come through start to notice their signs become more prolific and have even more meaning. They appear on the tv, songs on the radio, picture in magazine take not of the article near as it may have meaning to you. Sometimes the colouring of the animal even can have relevance to the message that they bring. More often than not there is more than one guide sometimes working together, sometimes independently on issues in your life.

I have many more will add them at a later point.. I loved the mystery with the shark.. the zebra was exciting as was young and full of energy.
The squirrel at the top was a guide that regularly appeared to me so bright red would be in the same place every day which I found amazing and he was so distinctive also...

These were part of the reason I decided to draw my own tarot but something I always love to com back too.. I like there is a different medium for them the shark was done with watercolours.. the others with pastel pencils...

High Priestess Card

So I went into most of the detail surrounding the card on my planning page further down so here is the completed version...

So colourwise I have put the colours which I feel the high priestess inspires.. I think she shows this innocence and open heat so the ball has this misty pink hue to signify a need to be open and trust in yourself here. The high priestess often links back to feelings of intuition again so this is the reason both for the purple and the eye.. the eye is purple to represent the 3rd eye chakra and wide open here. Again sticking with this intuition and colour theme I kept the nails also as purple. The reason behind the crystal ball was to follow the theme of circus and carnival and the fortune tellers. It also represented the naivety that comes with high priestess card as there were also authentic psychics and preyed and people vulnerability so sometimes this card can be a warning against it .. again reflecting back to trusting your own instinct.

I am pretty pleased with the outcome of the card here I think it has captured all the meanings I wanted to hold in this card and for it has kept a neutral aspect where a lot of cards all show a female in this position which on this occasion I wanted to steer away from..

CAMEL - Message

I used this card to do a vision quest in a study group on Aeclectic Tarot,

It is from the Messages from your Animal Spirit Guides..

This is the message that I got from this card,

I was looking forward to this and not sure how much I would get as tbh not finding this particular oracle the most inspiring.. however I would like to delve deeper.. 

I drew the camel for the vision quest which for how I felt about the deck seems like a rather apt card to have drawn. 

So as I close my eyes what I feel first is the extreme heat on my face beating down really harsh conditions. As I strain I have this feeling of him grinning but a sense that I have the strength within to keep going as it feels we have been walking for ages in a place where there is no direction.. almost like wandering with a purpose. 

My feet are sinking in the sand with the sand coming up and pouring over my toes I look at his feet evolved to deal with these condition so I can adapt to my environment too. The camel bends down and gesture to get on showing that accepting help and support is not a weakness.. ask from those who know.. 

We arrive at oasis and the camel takes a long drink really long and encourages me to do the same it is coming accross that perhaps you need to enjoy goodness and benefits cause you dont how long till it comes back round again.. 

we move again and I have this feeling of grit and determination as we battles through the sandstorm. I see his long eyelashes are protecting his eyes against the sand and showing me this as making some sort of shield to deal with these 'sandstorms' 

I also get this very alone feeling from the camel a journey which may feel solitary at times perhaps... it fades 

Thats all I got from the card on this quest but it was certainly an enlightening way of looking at the messages it had to give.. 

Thanks for this exercise I really enjoyed it and reading other peoples experiences although I get jealous I dont have an oracle with the fae...  x
